The Luxury Newborn Experience

Congratulations on your little bundle of joy!

Thank you for considering Heather Gappi Photography for such an important moment in your life! With a vintage and whimsical style we're a bit different that most newborn photographers. We stylize compositions artistically and photograph your little one authentically. The images will garner an incredible sense of variety and beauty. The most important thing to us is that you receive amazing images that capture such a beautiful stage in life, and that you have a lovely experience in our studio! You are not required to bring anything besides your little bundle of joy! We provide all of the clothing, wraps, props, bonnets, and head bands. We aim to photograph your baby between 6-12 days old, but we are able to accommodate for older babies. We work hard to make sure we can welcome every newborn into the studio, but we do have limited availability. Therefore it is important to schedule your session as early as possible! Once you know your due date please contact us so we can get you on the schedule! We have created a Preparation Guide to answer any additional questions you may have before your session.

 
 

  • Our Luxury Newborn Experience goes up to 90 minutes. We find this is the perfect amount of time for a session. We allow time for discussion with Heather to ensure your vision comes true. There is also plenty of time to ensure your little one is cozy, comfortable, and fed!

  • We take pride in creating a memorable experience for you during your session! Our Luxury Newborn Experience begins at $800 and includes everything we need to create beautiful images of your new baby! This includes a completely stocked studio full of wraps, little outfits, bowls, and props all ready for your little one.

  • We absolutely love including parents and siblings into the photographs. Heather always encourages parents to get in the photographs because it is such an important memory for you to have. We do have a Preparation Guide to help with appropriate clothing and makeup if you’d like more information please contact us!

  • Your session comes with high-resolution digital images sent to you via online gallery. After your session you will view your gallery and choose your images in studio. From there we will edit your images and you should receive your gallery within 3-4 weeks. We hope you love all the images, so the additional images are available for purchase! You do have complete printing rights to your images.

  • Newborn skin is one of the biggest concerns that we hear from new parents. Babies often come into this world with eczema, dry skin, acne, bruises, jaundice, or sometimes all of the above! Aside from the 1- 2 hours of artistically posing and photographing your newborn, I dedicate many hours afterwards in carefully retouching your precious baby’s skin. I try my best for the final result to have a beautiful, glowing, blemish-free newborn!

  • We do work closely with an amazing printing lab to provide our clients with professional printed products! We offer everything from wallets, photograph prints, to canvases. Once you’ve selected your images you will also be able to order printed products from your online gallery! We also offer custom albums, which can be ordered in person.

  • • We can accommodate late or early deliveries, but it’s important to keep up updated on your status.

    • We like to have pacifiers on hand incase the baby needs them.

    • We recommend feeding the baby on your schedule, but please bring extra formula or breast milk.

    • Please dress your baby in one layer, loose easy to remove clothing.

    • We like to photograph the baby as early as possible, because they’re more excepting to our posing.

  • We totally understand that life happens and sometimes we run late. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your session that time will be subtracted from your session. If you are more than 30 minutes late your session will be canceled and we will have to reschedule. You will loose your deposit.
